About you:
  • Education: Law degree in any jurisdiction, completed or in progress.
  • 2-4 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of law is necessary, law degree in any jurisdiction.
  • Understanding of legal advisory processes is a plus.
  • Languages: English B1/B2
  • Digital Tools or other requirements:
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
    • Knowledge of project management applied to the legal sector is a plus.

What are we looking for?

The legal department is a Global Department headquartered in Igualada that provides legal service to the BUFF group of companies in an international environment in the practice areas of Intellectual Property, Commercial, Data Protection, Product Compliance and Criminal Compliance. We are looking for a co-worker who provides support in the administrative tasks of the legal department to ensure its proper functioning and support in legal matters under the supervision of the Legal Manager, representing the organization with professionalism and integrity when dealing with internal clients and maintaining strict confidentiality of organizational and client information.


About the Role:
  • Assisting in the preparation and drafting of legal documents, such as contracts with international view.
  • Conducting research, investigations (mainly in trademark infringing cases), reviewing case files, and filling and organizing documents.
  • Perform legal and background research when requested.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling and arranging meetings, screening, directing, and prioritizing incoming calls and emails to lawyers, following up on payment of invoices for legal services provided by legal suppliers or external lawyers, filling in purchase orders in excel file, supporting in control of budget, linking purchase orders and invoices to the corresponding legal record.
  • Create and maintain case files, maintaining databases, management of legal files, and updating of applications (contract life management, file and documentary manager, Alfresco).
  • Complete the records of correspondence (emails, letters, etc.) and other documents/information regarding each file.
  • Update status of legal files.
  • Document management.
  • Communicate with internal clients and counterparts in person, over the phone, teams meetings, and via email, to collect and obtain the necessary information for legal cases and to drive the progress of legal cases handled by the legal department.
  • Prepare, complete, and process documents such as contracts or other legal documents based on templates provided by the department.
  • Prepare documents and contracts for signature once approved and send copies of the document to all stakeholders.
  • Assist and support in legal investigations of cases managed by the department (mainly trademark infringements).
