Internship Position Overview: Join our dynamic Inertial MEMS Applications team as an intern and dive into the world of motion control, navigation, and asset monitoring technologies. Our team works with cutting-edge MEMS devices including accelerometers, gyroscopes, and inertial measurement units (IMUs) , and integrates them into real-world applications using both hardware and software platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience with embedded systems, user-space software (Python, MATLAB) and inertial test equipment. You’ll work closely with a senior applications engineer and collaborate with a broader international team. Through this role, you will contribute to solving real-world engineering challenges faced by customers, supporting application development and product integration across global industries. Job Responsibilities Learn to use existing evaluation tools and documentation quickly and effectively. Develop simple, clear demonstrations of key product features. Conduct experiments to validate product performance and demo concepts. Incorporate team feedback into improved methods and tools. Document observations and results for future reference. Publish tools and methods on internal and public platforms (e.g., Wikis, GitHub). Suggest improvements to tools, documentation, and collateral. Assist in designing and testing evaluation boards. Requirements Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Electronic Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with embedded development environments (e.g., STM32CubeIDE, Arduino IDE). Experience with Python and/or MATLAB for data analysis, signal processing and scripting. Knowledge of LabVIEW is a plus. Comfortable using oscilloscopes, soldering tools, and general lab equipment. Experience with Cadence or any other electronic design software is a plus. Basic knowledge of mechanics and dynamics is a plus, as it helps in understanding how inertial sensors work and how physical motion translates into measurable signals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Creative, curious, and hands-on approach to problem solving. Strong communication skills — both written and verbal, also in English.
