Renewables Project Developer

Workload : 80100%Join Axpo Iberia to drive the future of renewable energy. As a Renewables Project Developer you will play a key role in developing and managing biomethane and hydrogen projects contributing to a sustainable energy landscape in Spain.What you will do :Identify and structure own biomethane and hydrogen projects defining budgets, timelines and areas of work.Establish partnerships with feedstock suppliers and potential partners negotiating agreements such as MOUs, LOIs and SHAs.Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, risk) to ensure project alignment and compliance.Navigate local and regional administration processes to secure environmental licenses and permits.Manage external suppliers, service providers and project teams to ensure timely progress and budget adherence.Monitor regulatory, technological and market trends to suggest strategic adjustments and optimize business models.Support local project developers in managing their duties and preparing project requests.What you bring & who you are :Background in engineering with experience in project development.Strong leadership and team management skills.Knowledge of environmental licensing and permitting processes in Spain.Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects effectively.Fluent in Spanish and English.Ideally familiarity with renewable energy and sustainability initiatives.Even if you dont meet all the requirements we encourage you to apply.
