Deep Detection design and manufacture photon counting X-ray detectors for a global client base to enhance detection outcomes across the industrial inspection and sorting sectors. Our business specialities include microelectronics design, photon counting detectors, data processing and custom deep learning. Together, these capabilities allow us to develop cutting edge products to transform the capabilities of clients inspection systems. Role Description The Q&T technician plays a critical role in our Operations team by ensuring the compliance to quality standards of our range of X-ray detectors and software release candidates. Q&T technicians report to the Operations Manager and play an important part in driving the continuous improvement of our company Quality Management System. Responsibilities Preparation and digital configuration of X-ray cameras Product quality control tests for X-ray cameras Extended user testing of software release candidates Scheduling of work program for testing and approval Prepare workflows and procedural documentation Investigate the causes of non-conforming products Manage product shipment and export documentation Track and report quality assurance metrics Skills - Essential B.Eng or B.Sc degree in Industrial, Operations or Engineering fields 3-years working in Quality Control roles or relevant Diploma Knowledge of ISO9001 requirements and certification Diligent, organised and oriented towards both detail and clarity Confident communicator able to speak up and raise concerns Understanding of electronic products and certifications Excellent written documentation and procedural skills Skills - Beneficial Professional certification in Integrated Management Systems H&S training for industrial environments Experience in ASTM or IQI standards Certification and operation of X-ray machines Start Date: from February 2026 Location: Barcelona Role Type: Full Time on site Languages: English (required), Spanish QualityManagmentSystems IntegratedManagementSystems UAB QualityAssurance Electronics
