The contract will be within the framework of the "Smart Health Ecosystem for managing Breathing Illnesses and Optimizing Sleep in patients with COPD, COVID and Sleep Disorders (SHE4BIOS)" project, funded by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación in the call of " Proyectos de Generación de Conocimiento 2021" PI : prof. Raimon Jané)Main tasks and responsibilitiesAcquisition of signals using mHealth devices in sleep studies.Design, development and application of algorithms for multimodal biomedical signalsEvaluation of multimodal physiological biomarkersProof-of-concept and validation of smartphone health systems for sleep studiesRequirements for candidatesDegree on any field of Engineering and BSc and MSc on Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.Expertise in protocols for comparison of different sensors and wearables in respiratory and cardiac signals.Expertise in laboratories for signal acquisition of respiratory and cardiac signals.Knowledge on data analysis and biomedical signal processing.Experience in Biomedical Signal Processing projectsCompetencies and skills : Communication, Teamwork and collaboration, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.High level of EnglishWe OfferNumber of available positions : 1Starting date : 01 / 04 / 2025Working conditions :Full time contract for 5 months, with the possibility of extension.Measures to reconcile work and family life (parental leave, flexible schedule working hours, 23 working days of paid holidays, 9 leave days for personal matters, among others).IBEC ensures equality of access to professional development opportunities irrespective of employment status, length at IBEC or other factors.
