Responsibilities Your role as an Associate Director will involve: Business Development & Employer Outreach Support the development and execution of the sector strategy across Finance sub-verticals (Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Asset Management, Wealth Management, FinTech, Real Estate Finance, etc.). Conduct structured market research to identify new employers and emerging opportunities for IE talent. Proactively engage prospective organizations through outreach campaigns and targeted communication. Prepare materials, briefs, talking points, and insights to support strategic employer meetings and follow‑ups. Employer Relationship Management Manage and develop a portfolio of employer partners, ensuring consistent and high‑quality engagement. Coordinate employer visits, calls, presentations, and recruiting activities, ensuring key insights and action items are accurately captured and followed through. Support senior team members with strategic accounts by providing research, preparation, and coordination. Represent IE University at sector events, company meetings, and employer activities (some travel required). Events, Marketing & Employer Engagement Plan and execute high‑impact employer activities such as Company Presentations, Talent Forums, Treks, Panels, and Networking events. Collaborate with the Marketing team to support communication initiatives targeted at Finance employers. Ensure an exceptional experience for employers and students across all engagement touchpoints. Track engagement and event outcomes to help assess impact and inform future decisions. Qualifications To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is strongly preferred . 4–6 years of experience in business development, employer relations, recruiting, HR, or similar roles. (Experience in Finance is a plus but not required.) \Strong communication, stakeholder‑management, and relationship‑building skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and follow‑through. Proactive, organized, and service‑oriented, with a strong sense of ownership. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Motivated to learn about Finance industry dynamics and recruiting practices.
