We are looking for a Sports Head of Sales

Sports Head of Sales is a global position in charge of the Sales of the YBVR Sports Business Unit.

The preferred location for this position is Europe (preferably Madrid, Barcelona or London). You will report into the VP of Sports – At this stage YBVR CEO, who is based in US, is acting as VP of Sports.

Sports Head of Sales is responsible for growing YBVR business with Leagues, Federations, Teams / Clubs and other sport organizations as well as with broadcasters and XR Platforms.

  • Re-define and evolve the YBVR value proposition and offering for Sports target customers :
  • Leagues
  • Federations
  • Teams / Clubs
  • Sport Brands
  • Tournaments
  • Broadcasters such as FOX, ESPN, TNT, NBC, DAZN, Eurosport, Amazon, Netflix, etc.
  • Ensure sales into the target customers according to YBVR plan.
  • Build Account Management practices with existing YBVR customers to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Define 'Strategic Accounts' and work in a long-term mode with them until we get the right engagement : e.g. Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, NBA, NHL, Grand Slam, DAZN, ESPN, NBC, TNT / Eurosport, Google, Apple, Meta, etc.

Required Experience

It is required a solid successful track record in :

  • Sport Business

In principle, we are targeting professionals with about 6-12 years of working experience with no major limitations for traveling.

  • Football (soccer) experience and networking.
  • Networking into USA / UK Sport Business.
  • Advertising / Sponsorship dynamics expertise in Sports.
  • Experience related to Sports Innovation and XR emerging techs.
