Job Duties:
- Lead the planning and execution of water-related projects, with a focus on water pipelaying and distribution systems.
- Manage and oversee day-to-day construction management activities on-site.
- Provide construction administration, supervision, and coordination to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve pertinent project documents, including plans, permits, and progress reports.
- Resolve technical challenges or issues that arise during the construction process.
- Monitor construction productivity and ensure project milestones are met on schedule.
- Collaborate closely with management to clarify project needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with overall goals.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction management, preferably with experience in water-related projects (pipelaying experience is an advantage).
- Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to supervise and guide construction teams effectively.
- Knowledge of construction standards, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with water infrastructure projects, especially in pipelaying and water distribution systems.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools for project management and design.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated civil engineer with a background in water infrastructure, seeking an opportunity to lead and manage complex construction projects.
