We’re the world’s largest independent renewable energy company, guided by a simple yet powerful vision: create a future where everyone has access to affordable, zero‑carbon energy.The PositionCondition Monitoring Engineer – provided data analysis and engineering expertise to wind farm Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance teams, with the aim of maximizing generation and profit for the asset owners and RES by ensuring the efficient operation of power plants.ResponsibilitiesAnalyse, explore and interpret operational data, principally wind turbine vibration data, to provide the best diagnosis and recommendations for the operational plant, enabling high revenue and profit for clients and RES while managing risk.Identify performance improvement opportunities and communicate findings to the operational teams.Report to the Lead Condition Monitoring Engineer, help embed analysis standardisation across assets and continuous improvement to improve the efficiency and accuracy of analysis and reporting.Support the Analysis and Optimisation Service team within Operations and Maintenance, working closely with O&M providers, internal support teams and asset owners.Key AccountabilitiesConduct delivery of analysis and optimisation services for wind farms, including performance analysis and reporting, issued diagnosis, site onboarding, remote site and engineering support, and plant improvement; aim to minimise cost and lost production.Assess network and communication issues, identify data loss and validate data integrity.Qualifications & SkillsBasic principles of wind turbine technology and energy production.Data mining and programming in Python (Preferred).Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving and reporting skills.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Experience managing, analysing and visualising large datasets; previous renewable energy experience is preferred.BEng/MEng or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Data Analysis, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Maths, etc.Travel & LocationWill require willingness to travel within UK and Europe to other offices and sites, occasionally to work outside office hours to support operational needs.Benefits & GrowthCompetitive package offers rewards and benefits including flexible working, hybrid telework model and emphasis on work‑life balance.
