Program Manager, Launch Planning, Amazon LogisticsAs Launch Planning Program Manager, you will drive the end-to-end delivery station (DS) launch planning process. Your role is crucial in expanding our delivery network through strategic planning, project execution, and stakeholder alignment.Key Job ResponsibilitiesStrategic PlanningLead DS site selection, design, and budget procurementManage multiple launch projects concurrentlyConduct ROI analysis for strategic investment decisionsOptimize DS performance throughout the entire lifecycleProcess Optimization and StandardizationDevelop and implement standardized processesSet new efficiency benchmarks for the launch planning processCollaborate with global teams to share insightsStakeholder Management and CommunicationServe as primary POC on projects, facilitating effective communication among all stakeholdersManage project timelines and provide regular updates to leadershipNavigate regulatory requirements and foster local partnershipsAbout the TeamAmazon Logistics (AMZL) is a division responsible for managing Amazon's last-mile delivery and providing high-quality, attractive delivery services to customers. While striving to optimize delivery costs and improve delivery experience, we are focusing on nationwide expansion of Delivery Stations (DS), our final delivery facility, to further expand our logistics network.Basic Qualifications3+ years of program or project management experienceBachelor's degreeBusiness Level English (Japanese is a plus)Preferred QualificationsDemonstrated ability to navigate and solve complex problems in ambiguous environmentsRelevant degree/certification (Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, PMP)Logistics industry experienceStrategic planning expertiseTrack record of successfully managing cross-departmental initiativesExperience communicating effectively with senior executivesCommitment to fostering an inclusive workplaceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
