The Patient Care Assistant position is part of the Med/Surg Department  and is a contingent role working approximately 12 hours per two-week pay period . Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Hospital experience and departmental experience preferred Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and professionalism Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and commitment to customer service Team-oriented with a focus on providing seamless patient care Key Responsibilities Perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services to support patient comfort and personal needs Use a systematic approach to assess patient needs and collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff Promote teamwork and maintain adherence to all departmental standards Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment
