That's where you come in. The role What are we looking for? We're looking for an experiencedStorage Engineerto join our Infrastructure team inMadrid (Plaza España HQ). You'll be responsible forimplementing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise storage systems(both on-prem and cloud environments), ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and data protection. You'll work closely with our Cloud Operations and Platform teams to support the services powering thousands of users across Europe and Latin America. What you'll own and drive Implementation & Operations Lead thedeployment and configurationof storage systems (NetApp, ONTAP, FSx-ONTAP). Manage day-to-dayadministration, performance tuning, and troubleshootingof storage environments. Ensure data integrity and availability throughSnapMirror,Data Protection, andActive-IPsolutions. Implement and manageNFS,S3 Storage, andCEPHarchitectures for scalable object and file storage. Cloud & Hybrid Integration Integrate on-premises storage solutions withAWS (FSx-ONTAP)andBlueXP. Deploy and manageautonomous ransomware protectionmechanisms within ONTAP environments. Collaborate with Cloud and DevOps teams to automate provisioning and backups across hybrid systems. Optimization & Continuous Improvement Monitor system health and capacity planning using modern observability tools. Identify areas for improvement in performance, scalability, and reliability. Document architecture, best practices, and operational runbooks. You've successfully implemented and maintained multiplestorage cabinsand infrastructures. You holdNetApp certificationsin:185: Physical Installations, 164: Administration You have deep hands-on knowledge ofNetApp ONTAP,AWS FSx-ONTAP, andData Protectionsolutions. You understand the full lifecycle of storage environments—from deployment to automation. You're proactive, analytical, and passionate about creating reliable, high-performing systems. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, collaborating with diverse teams, and sharing knowledge. Day-to-day tasks Performdaily monitoring, checks, and maintenanceof storage systems (NetApp, CEPH, NFS, S3). Manage incidents and service requests related to storage, ensuring quick and effective resolution. Supportinfrastructure projectsinvolving virtualization, networks, IaaS, and DevOps. Participate instorage capacity planningandperformance optimizationefforts. Collaborate with SREs and Operations teams to ensure service reliability and uptime. Conduct periodicsystem audits, reviewing security, redundancy, and data protection policies. Propose and implementautomation improvementsto reduce manual intervention and increase efficiency. Report on KPIs and progress to theHead of Infrastructure, ensuring full alignment with team objectives. Requirements that are important for us Please, only apply if you match these. 5–7 yearsof experience in enterprise storage environments. Proven expertise withNetApp ONTAP,FSx-ONTAP, andBlueXP. Familiarity withobject storage (S3, CEPH)andfile protocols (NFS). Strong background indata protection,replication, andransomware defense. Excellent documentation and communication skills (English and Spanish). Availability to workon-site at our offices in Plaza España (Madrid)in a hybrid model. Who will you be working with? You'll be part of theInfrastructure Department, collaborating closely with several key teams and roles across Jotelulu: Infrastructure Team:working hand-in-hand with specialists invirtualization, networks, IaaS, and DevOps. Operations Department:side by side with theSRE (Site Reliability Engineers)team to ensure stability and performance across all platforms.
