Assistant Store Manager Location: Madrid - Gran Vìa Full time Permanent Founded in 2010, POP MART is a market-leading entertainment company and a global champion of designer toy culture. POP MART is a boutique-sized company with a young and multicultural team where you can expect to: Gain valuable professional experience covering the entire retail life cycle Receive structured customer service, retail operations and product training A structured bonus/commission scheme in line with the company's and the individual's performance Comprehensive training and development programs Regular team social events We are searching for an Assistant Store Manager to work alongside our Store Manager in Gran Vìa 44 . This is a key role in managing the store in all aspects of retail operations and ensuring the sales team provides exceptional customer service that meets POP MART's standards. This leadership position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities and a passion for retail management. Assist the Store Manager overseeing all aspects of store operations Train and supervise the sales team, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for achieving sales targets Closely monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the merchandising team and management for replenishment Control stock discrepancy by monitoring inventory levels and preventing shoplifting Own visual merchandising. Ensure the store tidiness and cleanliness are maintained at the highest level Assist in recruitment, evaluation of potential candidates' performance, and training new team members Perform administrative tasks such as rota scheduling and sales reporting Be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays 3+ years full time experience in store management level ~ Fluent in professional English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills ~ Proactive with strong customer service skills to provide a memorable shopping experience ~ Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets ~ Proficient in administrative tasks such as rota scheduling and reporting ~ Effective time management and task prioritization abilities ~ Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques Familiarity with retail management software and point-of-sale systems (CEGID)
