Secondary Teacher (Science And/Or Maths)Raoul Wallenberg International School – Palma, Mallorca, SpainPositionPart‑time (eligible for full‑time if combined with additional subjects). Reports to the Head of School and Head of Secondary.About the SchoolRaoul Wallenberg International School is a growing international school offering inquiry‑based education with a focus on values, project‑based learning, and character development.ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons in Science, Maths, and/or other subject areas.Incorporate project‑based learning, service learning, and real‑world applications into teaching.Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross‑curriculum concepts.Design and assess lessons, use formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback.Maintain accurate student records and manage data to monitor progress.Support character development through the School’s guiding principles and Class Connect Programme.Prioritise student wellbeing and collaborate with the Student Life Coordinator and School Counsellor.Build relationships with students, families, and the wider community.Participate in the School’s professional development programme and contribute to continuous improvement.Lead After‑School Activities (clubs, workshops) that align with personal passions.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Secondary Education with specialism in Maths, Science or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).2–3 years of secondary teaching experience, preferably in an inquiry‑based international or British curriculum.Experience with IB MYP, Cambridge International Curriculum and/or IB DP.Strong record in teaching, learning, and assessment in lower secondary.Fluency in English; additional language skills (Spanish, Swedish, German, etc.) a plus.Commitment to values‑based education and modern, research‑based teaching practices.Ability to adapt to multiple subject areas and collaborate effectively.Proficiency with teaching technologies (AI tools, adaptive platforms, Google Workspace).BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.Professional development opportunities.Group health insurance.Free lunch and tuition allowances for children.Relocation allowance for international hires.Living in Mallorca: beautiful landscapes, Mediterranean climate, vibrant culture, and a supportive expat community.How to ApplySend CV, cover letter, and two professional references (one must be current Head of School) to the email address provided.
