Job Description
The IT Business Analyst, Financial Consolidation & Tax Reporting is responsible for connecting the business to the technical Oracle EPM – FCCS and TRCS environments by providing techno-functional support to the daily operational business processes as well as proposing, designing, and implementing new requirements and enhancements to the solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse (existing requirements, process, data, trends, market) & Define Scope
- Communicate perceived opportunities to the IT Manager, Financial Performance Management Systems (Oracle EPM Service Owner).
- Create scoping document to align business requirements.
- Plan & Define
- Drive early business/functional designs and high-level assessment in terms of efforts (resources, time, budget, skills).
- Design Solution, Build, Deploy
- Design, propose and translate new requirements and enhancements into functional requirements.
- Prepare quality assurance measures in accordance with the specified requirements.
- Support project managers during building and testing phases, as required.
- Run
- Establishment and support of the sustain model around the systems.
- Support audits from internal and external regulatory bodies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong professional experience in a similar position including Accounting, Financial Reporting functions.
- Experience with financial performance management applications/platforms including Oracle EPM.
- Collaborative, yet able to operate independently; self-motivated/driven.
