We are looking for aSenior Murex IT Consultantto support and deliverMarket Risk (MRB) Murex projectswithin Santander’s Markets Risk Product Team. You will work closely with Risk users, Functional teams, and IT squads in a transformational (AS-IS → TO-BE) environment.You will be part of one of the following squads:P&L CycleStructural DataValuation CycleMetrics CycleCapital CycleThe role involveshands-on Murex support, configuration, certification, and deployment , with a strong focus onMRB Market Risk modules .️ Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, support, and integrate Murex services and operations with other applicationsSupport Market Risk users and gather requirements for new initiativesMaintain and improve technical competencies through training and upskilling initiativesPrepare technical documentation aligned with Group Development PoliciesCertify software and integrations through defined testing and certification cyclesPackage and deploy solutions across multiple environmentsHandle incidents, enhancements, and support requests related to MRB / Full Reval modulesCoordinate with Murex vendor (case opening, follow-ups, patches)Required Experience6+ years of hands-on Murex experienceStrong expertise inMurex v3 installationsDeep knowledge ofMRB Market Risk moduleExperience inMarket Risk IT support and project deliveryGlobal Murex KnowledgeMurex v3 installation and configurationMurex services, standard menus, and log analysisGUI expertise including:EOD processesDatamart, Extractions, PS, BoFMDRS (Market Data)Start/Stop of Murex servicesInstallation of Murex binaries and patchesStrong communication with Risk and Functional teamsMRB Market Risk ExpertiseUnderstanding ofVaR calculations in MurexFull MRB module installation and configurationMRB menus and servicesScenario containers and scenario importsExecution of RUNS, EXPORTS, and VaR calculationsAnt script configuration and automationSupport forMRB / Full RevaluationprocessesTechnical SkillsMurex (Core, Services, Datamart, MRB, Full Reval)Oracle / SQLShell ScriptingJavaScriptPythonAgile methodologiesJIRA & GitHub️ LanguageEnglish – Professional working proficiency
