Our client is a multinational company global leader in the chemical sector, based in Hilden. They're currently looking for a Sr. Regional Buyer with ambition and potential to grow and develop within the company. Is that you?

Responsibilities

  1. Take on procurement projects in the area of Indirect Sourcing / NPR (Non-Product-Related)
  2. Handle procurement projects including requirements analysis, Tendering, Supplier management and Price and contract negotiations
  3. Develop procurement strategies within the scope of responsibility
  4. Responsible for the local implementation of global and regional procurement strategies and processes
  5. Conduct, evaluate, and present various analyses
  6. Lead or participate in procurement projects, e.g., supplier consolidation
  7. Identify cost optimization opportunities and locally implement global contracts in collaboration with the Regional Category Management
  8. Work closely with various departments and the Indirect Sourcing Manager within the DACH region as well as other international procurement departments

Qualifications

  1. Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Procurement, alternatively a commercial vocational training with additional qualification as a Certified Procurement Specialist (IHK) or equivalent
  2. Relevant professional experience in indirect procurement
  3. Well-established supplier network
  4. Good knowledge of MS Office
  5. Experience with Coupa is an advantage
  6. Fluent in German and English
  7. Native Romanian language valuable
