Our cloud-based platforms offer fast access to a portfolio of travel products and services with data and intelligence that connect supply and demand worldwide. HBX Group comprises four B2B brands serving clients across 190+ global markets.Job Summary We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team, working within agile teams focusing on design, impact analysis and outcomes of our solutions. Our Solution Architects interface with Enterprise Architects to protect outcomes, estimates, and to adhere to the overall guidelines and standards. They also create technical interest and evaluate the applicability of the latest developments within their domain.Job Responsibilities Ensure technological performance by design, right-sizing, scalability and reliabilityEnsure that architectural standards and best practices are followedEnsure the Definition of Done is followed at technical levelAnalyze technical trade-offsContribute to the scope definitionDefine non-functional requirementsContribute to the Definition of Done definitionGuard the services’ security and performanceSupport the team during significant technological changesContribute decisively to the definition of reference architectures and standardsDetect weaknesses and failure points within the solutions and propose improvementsAct as a key figure for reducing technical debt and guiding technological evolutionParticipate and drive keeping technical documentation up to dateCollaborate in defining the technical and functional monitoringNegotiate with product leads on prioritization of initiatives important for technological evolutionAdvocate for new technological featuresRequired Skills 3+ years of software or platform design and experience in end-to-end architecture solutionsBachelor or Master in Computer Science or a related degreeExperience designing and implementing architectures using different database and cache types and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Redis, Postgres or alternativesExperience with frontend technologies such as Django and ReactExperience with backend technologies (especially Python and/or Java)Experience working in hybrid-cloud environments including AWS and/or GCPExperience designing and implementing distributed systemsKnowledge of continuous delivery processes and toolsStrong written and verbal communication skills in English and SpanishTechnical leadership abilitiesStrong technical, logical, analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication and influencing skillsTeam player with an agile mindsetAble to work under pressure and with shifting prioritiesAbility to think creatively, multi-task and manage time efficientlyWillingness to learnAdvanced English proficiencyNice to have Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFeSeniority level AssociateEmployment type Full-timeJob function Information TechnologyIndustries Technology, Information and InternetTravel Arrangements#J-18808-Ljbffr
