Senior Manager, ICT Infrastructure

Your missionEuroleague Basketball are seeking a dynamic and experienced ICT Infrastructure & Operations Senior Manager to lead a critical segment of the Technology function covering Infrastructure, ICT Operations, ICT Helpdesk, and Cybersecurity. This role will oversee the strategic and day-to-day management of ICT infrastructure, service desk operations, and cybersecurity initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the resilience, performance, and security of our ICT environment, while delivering exceptional end-user support and maintaining compliance with regulatory and security standards. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, team leadership, project management, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and ICT service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesICT Infrastructure & Operations ManagementLead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure including cloud services, on-premise systems, networks, servers, storage, and end-user computing.Ensure system uptime, availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.Drive infrastructure modernization and automation.Manage both on prem, private and hybrid cloud environments (e.g. Azure and GCP).Helpdesk & End-User SupportManage the ICT helpdesk and support team to deliver timely, efficient, and customer-focused IT support.Ensure service levels (SLAs) and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to offering continuous service improvement.Implement processes for ITSM (ICT Service Management) processes based on ITIL best practices.Oversee user training initiatives and support onboarding/offboarding workflows.Cybersecurity & Compliance SupportAssist in the implementation and monitoring of security controls and policies defined by the organization or external partners.Ensure endpoint protection, patch management, and identity/access management tools operate properly.Report and escalate potential security incidents according to internal procedures.Support audit and compliance processes as required.Team Leadership & CollaborationLead a cross-functional team of infrastructure engineers, helpdesk technicians, and security specialists.Foster a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Provide mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members.Budgeting & Vendor CoordinationSupport the preparation and tracking of budgets related to infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity.Assist in maintaining the register of technology services and assets under the Technology department’s scope.Collaborate with senior management in managing vendor relationships and contract renewals.Provide input for the evaluation and procurement of hardware, software, and services to support IT initiatives.Your profilePreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field5+ years of progressive IT experience, including infrastructure, helpdesk, and security operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Deep knowledge of networking, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and endpoint management.Proven experience managing helpdesk/service desk teams.Strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools, frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS), and regulatory standards.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure & GCP), SIEMs, EDR tools, and IAM solutions.Familiarity with ITIL-based service management and ITSMExcellent communication and troubleshooting skills.English proficiency required (spoken and written).Nice to HaveMicrosoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or similar cloud certification.ITIL Foundation or CompTIA Security+.Experience with mobile device management (Intune) or endpoint protection platforms.Why us?#J-18808-Ljbffr
