The Crux of the Role The Iron Operations KYB Analyst role supports Iron’s onboarding and ongoing due diligence processes mainly for business customers.

The role focuses on conducting corporate KYB (and KYC) reviews, supporting customer onboarding, responding to external due diligence requests, and working cross-functionally to ensure compliance requirements are consistently implemented across operations and systems. The position requires regular interaction with customers, Legal, Operations, and sometimes product.

Responsibilities

KYB and Risk AssessmentConduct KYB reviews for Iron partners, including corporate structure analysis, UBO identification, control persons, adverse media screening, and risk assessmentReview KYB applications and supporting documentation in line with MoonPay policiesSupport ongoing monitoring, remediation, and enhanced due diligence activities where required for both KYB and KYCOperational Sections Customer-Facing Compliance Support: Act as a compliance point of contact for Iron partners during onboarding and post-onboarding, with support from the Compliance teamParticipate in shared customer communication channels to explain KYC and KYB requirements and answer customer questions in a cx functionAddress customer questions and challenges regarding onboarding and due diligence requirementsRFI and External Due Diligence: Coordinate responses to RFIs, due diligence questionnaires, and compliance requests from partners, banks, and enterprise customersWork with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Operations teams to gather responses where neededOperational Support Maintain accurate documentation of KYB decisions, risk assessments, and escalationsContribute to the development and maintenance of KYB procedures and workflowsAct as an escalation point for complex KYB and KYC cases as needed and as it relates to Iron’s product offeringServe as a subject matter (domain) expert on KYB; act as an escalation point for other customer-facing teamsSupport the submission of customer KYC/KYB information to banking partners following onboardingManage follow-ups and clarification requests from banking partners, including requests for additional information or documentation, and coordinate internally to resolve issues efficientlyAct as a point of coordination between internal teams and banking partners to address onboarding blockers, discrepancies, or recurring requirementsAbout You You have experience in KYB, KYC, or AML operations and are comfortable working in environments that require coordination across multiple teamsMinimum 2+ years of experience in KYB, KYC, or AML within crypto, fintech, payments, or financial services. Ideally within a small team.

Experience
