Our customers trust us to make their indie or AAA titles perfect before they reach gamers.Location & Working HoursThis is an onsite role at Alvento Business Park, Vía de los Poblados, 1‑3 28033, Madrid. You will work full‑time from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.What You’ll DoYour job is to make sure games and applications give the best user experience by being linguistic bug‑free.Check in‑game text for linguistic accuracy and correctness, and ensure it complies with cultural rules.Learn and follow the Universally Speaking LQA process and professional standards.Use industry‑standard bug databases to write detailed bug reports.Track those issues to ensure bugs are fixed and implemented correctly.Become the LQA expert across a broad range of indie to AAA projects and specialisation areas.Own, manage, create, and regularly execute test cases throughout the project life cycle, documenting testing practices, LQA process & reporting methods.Participate in test‑requirement gathering with developers to ensure localisation QA supports all project features.Anticipate improvements, take ownership for additional activities and create efficiencies.Cooperate with the QA team.Measures of PerformanceQuality, velocity, and precision of bug reports.On‑time delivery.Team working and communication.Continuous improvement and knowledge of LQA workflow and techniques.RequirementsYou are native in European Portuguese.You have proficiency in written and spoken English.You are passionate about video games.You are a team player, able to work under pressure within tight deadlines.You are pro‑active, tenacious, and enthusiastic.You have a focus on quality and a keen eye for detail.You are good with computers – word processing, database handling, record keeping, good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.You have the right to work in Spain – this position is not eligible for sponsorship.Useful Skills (Nice to Have)Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.Experience with software tools used for LQA testing (test‑case management and text editing tools).Working knowledge of CAT tools (MemoQ).Knowledge of the video‑game industry and trends.Desirable but not essential: Bachelor’s or higher degree in linguistics.BenefitsFijo‑discontinuo contract.Training and learning provided by on‑site experts.On‑site work at our Madrid office.Job DetailsSeniority level: Entry level – Contract – Job function: Other – Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting .Get notified about new Game Tester jobs in Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain .Referrals increase your chances of interviewing by 2x.#J-18808-Ljbffr
