Compliance Officer - IGamingCompany: AleaAbout the roleThe Compliance Officer ensures that the company adheres to statutory and regulatory requirements, focusing on AML/CFT compliance, maintaining licenses, drafting policies, conducting due diligence, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders in the iGaming sector.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Onboarding Due Diligence: Conduct KYC, KYB, sanctions, PEP, and adverse media checks for new and existing clients.Drafting Policies: Develop and implement internal compliance policies and procedures.Monitoring Procedures: Review and monitor existing procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.Risk Assessment: Compile and maintain risk assessments for all clients.License Maintenance: Monitor compliance to maintain all existing licenses.AML/CFT Controls: Monitor risks and enhance controls as required.Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on regulatory changes and integrate them into company processes.License Reporting: Coordinate reporting requirements and ensure timely submissions.New License Applications: Prepare and submit applications for new licenses.Internal Stakeholder Support: Provide guidance on compliance issues to internal departments.Compliance Reporting: Prepare compliance assessments and reports for regulatory bodies.Qualifications2–5 years in the iGaming industry with a focus on compliance.Minimum 1 year in a Compliance or Due Diligence role B2B.Legal background or relevant compliance certification preferred.Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulatory frameworks.Fluent in English (written and verbal).Strong organizational and methodical approach.Excellent communication skills.Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.Proactive and motivated, with initiative.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Based in the EU.Willingness to travel for regulatory meetings.Experience with licensing procedures and post‑licensing compliance management.What We OfferA competitive salary package.Health benefits including medical insurance, gym with personal trainer, sauna, hyperbaric chamber, and fresh fruit.Tax‑advantaged wage benefits: Meal card, transport package, childcare allowance.Discount on Veg it (vegan meals) for lunch at the office.Flexible start and finish times.Reduced working hours in August.23 holidays plus 3 extra days at disposal.Hybrid work model.English classes.Parking benefit for those living outside Barcelona.Impressive gift after the trial period.Team building events, parties, workshops, paddle tennis games.#J-18808-Ljbffr
