Their technology powers more seamless, safe and sustainable air travel. They are looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer on a contract basis for a 6 month contract. About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and integrating data from various sources, including STREAM and ADBS. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Key Duties: • Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources such as STREAM and ADBS into our data warehouse. • Data Management: Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all integrated sources. • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver integrated data solutions. • Optimization: Optimize data pipelines and workflows for efficiency and scalability. • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data integration processes and data flow diagrams. • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data-related issues promptly to ensure seamless data integration and availability. What we are looking for Required Skills/Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Experience: Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on data integration. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools. Experience with data integration platforms and data warehousing solutions. • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex data sets. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. xsgfvud • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
