Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Community & Social Lead - Crypto - candidates need to be based in Europe.
We are a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol that recently secured $50 million in funding from Ribbit Capital, a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Variant, Brevan Howard, Pantera, Blocktower, and 50 others to support its mission of revolutionizing lending with an open, efficient, and resilient platform. We are experiencing explosive growth, with over $3 billion in assets supplied on the protocol. In just 6 months, our new permissionless protocol grew from 0 to $2 billion, solidifying itself as the new standard for DeFi lending. Now, we are scaling the team of contributors to establish us as a cornerstone - not just of DeFi, but of a new internet-native financial system.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Community Lead who would be responsible for building a loyal community around us by engaging and supporting them. This person will also take ownership of our social media presence, creating compelling content that resonates with the target audiences.
Mission & Responsibilities
- Design and Manage Community and Social Campaigns
- Grow our community through digital activations like quests, KOLs, contests, and more
- Drive conversions by engaging the community using online channels and campaigns
- Coordinate and execute co-marketing campaigns with partners and their communities
- Monitor, analyze, and implement tactics/lessons from other high-functioning, effective communities
- Engage, Empower, and Support Morpho's Community
- Implement regular, structured community updates on the latest developments in our Ecosystem
- Like, respond to (non-technical questions), and surface posts related to us across all social media touchpoints
- Listen to and collect feedback from the community to inform the wider team and improve future marketing strategies
- Own Morpho's Social Media Presence Across Multiple Channels
- Own the content calendar and create tailored content for platforms including X, Farcaster, LinkedIn, Mirror, and Discord
- Craft compelling narratives that capture people's attention
- Leverage emerging trends and events to create entertaining content
- Use analytics, feedback, and insights to improve content strategies
- Contribute to Morpho's Overall Events Strategy
- Attend conferences and connect with the community to foster relationships and gather insights
- Lead community-focused events to support strategic goals
3+ years in community management or social media/content marketing.
1+ years in crypto, preferably in DeFi.
Proven experience in building and empowering a community and experience writing clear, concise, and engaging content (extra points for humor and memes).
Based in Europe.
Knowledge of third-party crypto marketing platforms (Quests, Attribution, etc.)#J-18808-Ljbffr
