Overview Delivery Consultant - DevOps, WWPS ProServe. Job ID: | Amazon Web Services, Inc. The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a Senior Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers’ technical requirements and business objectives. You will drive customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. You will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer’s needs, gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As a trusted advisor, you will guide customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, lead the implementation process, ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, and manage risks across the project lifecycle.The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts helping customers realize business outcomes with the AWS Cloud. We collaborate with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives, offering a collection of services that support enterprise cloud adoption and focused guidance through global specialty practices across technologies and industries.This position requires that the candidate be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher.Key responsibilities Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needsProviding technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project deliveryCollaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategiesActing as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologiesSharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifactsBasic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation experienceIntegration of cloud services with on-premise technologies (i.e. Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP) and experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)5+ years of cloud-based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experiencePreferred Qualifications AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferredExperience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience with designing and building applications using AWS services such as Lambda, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, KubernetesExperience with designing, developing, and maintaining search and analytics solutions (OpenSearch, Kibana)Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market.
