The Role Cybersecurity Consultant specialized in the automation of cybersecurity processes through orchestration platforms and artificial intelligence, including machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and AI agents. Experienced in designing and implementing intelligent automation across security operations, enabling scalable detection, investigation, and response workflows. Focused on reducing operational overhead, accelerating decision-making, and enhancing security effectiveness by combining SOAR capabilities with AI-driven analysis and autonomous or semi-autonomous response mechanisms. Focused on reducing operational overhead, accelerating decision-making, and enhancing security effectiveness by combining SOAR capabilities with AI-driven analysis and autonomous or semi-autonomous response mechanisms. EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONSBachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field. Certifications: - Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent - Ansible Automation Platform Training - Microsoft Power Automate Certification (PL-500 / Power Platform Functional Consultant) - Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) - Cloud security or platform certifications (e.g., AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty) - Security automation or SOAR vendor certifications (platform-dependent) EXPERIENCE 3+ year in cybersecurity servicesLANGUAGES Spanish and English (B2 level or higher)SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEStrong understanding of Security Operations (SecOps / SOC) and cybersecurity process automationHands-on experience with SOAR and orchestration platforms for security workflowsProficiency in automation frameworks and tools, including: - Ansible for infrastructure and security automation - Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation and integration across security and business processesKnowledge of machine learning techniques applied to security use cases (anomaly detection, classification, prioritization)Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) for security analysis, summarization, and decision supportFamiliarity with AI agents and agent-based architectures for task automation and workflow executionProficiency in automation and scripting (Python, REST APIs, JSON, YAML)Experience integrating SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, cloud security, and threat intelligence platformsUnderstanding of MITRE ATT&CK and its application to automated detection and responseKnowledge of data pipelines, feature engineering, and model integration within security platformsExperience with cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with MLOps principles (model lifecycle, monitoring, retraining, governance)Ability to design human-in-the-loop controls and automation guardrailsExperience with data visualization and reporting, including Power BI, for operational dashboards and automation KPIsAwareness of ethical AI, model risk, and explainability in security automation contextsStrong documentation and communication skills to explain AI-driven security workflowsKEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and implement AI-driven automation workflows for cybersecurity operationsDevelop and orchestrate SOAR playbooks enhanced with ML models and LLM-based decision supportAutomate tasks such as alert triage, enrichment, classification, response recommendation, and executionIntegrate AI agents to perform autonomous or semi-autonomous security tasks under defined guardrailsCollaborate with SOC and SecOps teams to embed AI capabilities into existing operational processesDefine control points, human-in-the-loop mechanisms, and escalation criteria for AI-assisted responsesEnsure AI-driven automations align with security policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirementsMonitor performance of automated workflows and AI models, optimizing accuracy and reliabilityDocument AI-based procedures, orchestration logic, and operational safeguardsSupport testing, simulations, and controlled rollouts of AI-enabled security automationIdentify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve consistency through intelligent automationAct as a bridge between security, data science, and engineering teams during implementation initiatives Being You Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
