Location:Providencia,Guadalajara, Mexico️Language: Bilingual (English & Spanish)Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work and currently residing in Mexico.⌚Full-Time | U.S. Eastern Time Role Purpose Drive quality excellence across the data and analytics ecosystem by establishing a robust test automation framework. You’ll ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance of data pipelines and BI assets through end-to-end automated validation and continuous testing integration. Key Outcomes Automated test coverage across data pipelines and semantic models Performance and failover testing frameworks integrated in pre-production Quality gates embedded into CI/CD with regression suites for critical assets Core Responsibilities Define the overall testing strategy, environment setup, and automation frameworks. Implement unit, integration, and contract tests for pipelines, semantic models, and BI components. Develop data validation suites for schemas, referential integrity, and KPI thresholds. Conduct performance, load, and failover testing to ensure platform reliability under stress. Maintain synthetic datasets and masking patterns for secure non-production environments. Collaborate with engineers to triage issues, remediate defects, and continuously improve quality standards. Requirements Qualifications 5+ years in QA or Test Automation for data-driven or cloud-based platforms Strong Python and SQL skills, with hands-on experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines Experience with data quality testing frameworks and performance testing in Azure environments Excellent communication and documentation discipline Why Join MezTal?
