Global Procurement (GP) is transforming to build new capabilities and create an agile organization that will deliver on our vision to "accelerate Roche's goal to bring innovative solutions to patients quickly and efficiently through business and supplier partnerships''.  The Delivery capability covers the core procurement activities from category management, strategic and operational sourcing, supplier management, content strategy definition and execution.  This position is part of the Digital & Tech (IT Procurement) network leadership team reporting into the Head of Procurement Delivery - Digital & Tech. As the Procurement Delivery Lead - Digital & Tech (Core Infrastructure and Platforms), you will work in a dynamic global environment where you will meet the challenge to bring vision, guidance, prioritization, and focus to the Procurement Delivery capability area such as team vision, capability development and strategic Delivery prioritization (in line with functional objectives and business needs).  Thanks to your collaborative and influencing skills, you partner with internal stakeholders (e.g. Informatics Vendor Management Team, other Procurement Teams) to align on needs, identify opportunities, define goals and advance priorities. You influence decision making and remove barriers to ensure delivery of high quality customer oriented sourcing and spend management strategies. The Opportunity: As Procurement Delivery Lead - Digital & Tech (Core Infrastructure and Platforms) you will play a variety of roles according to your experience, knowledge, and the general business/team requirements, including but not limited to:  Act as a Delivery domain lead providing thought leadership, advice, and know-how on delivery capability topics, strategies, and best practices. Developer overseeing, improving and driving delivery of sourcing, category and supplier related strategies as well as coaching team members. Accelerator and advocate content and automation development providing guidance to align on and co-create enhancements and development of automated delivery offerings, enhancing business satisfaction and driving efficiencies. Working within the capability teams, networks, and squads/project teams to ensure prioritization and focus on delivering or supporting both project and foundational work. Directly manage and be accountable for the performance of teams of Sr. Procurement Delivery Managers, Procurement Delivery Managers and Sr. Supplier Relationship Managers.   Your successful performance depends on the full embodiment and demonstration of core mindsets and behaviors, including curiosity, passion, an entrepreneurial spirit, enterprise thinking and inclusive collaboration. Who you are:  This is a role for highly experienced experts only and you need to have 15+ years experience within IT sourcing and procurement, in particular for subcategories such as Infrastructure Hardware, Cloud Hosting, Telecommunications, Enterprise Software and Hardware and IT Services ideally both from working in a large scale IT Procurement and/or IT Vendor Management function. You hold a university degree, with a business or life science degree preferable, and you have worked in a matrix organization as well as demonstrated success in building and cultivating management of global medium to large teams (> In addition, you have: Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of strategic Infrastructure Hardware, Cloud Hosting, Telecommunications, Enterprise Software and Hardware and IT Services workforce sourcing and end-to-end operationalization of them. Demonstrated excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.  Deep expert knowledge and experience in the IT category area in particular for the sub-categories mentioned above. Experience in project management including change management and process improvement with direct experience in delivering complex organizational change projects.
