Summary As a Pricing Expert, you will work closely with Product, Services, and Sales teams to understand our offerings, communicate them to prospective customers, and help customers find solutions to their most challenging business imperatives. Job Description As part of a high‑performing team, you will excel at understanding technical and business process challenges, leading discussions with internal and prospective customer teams, and presenting complex solution demonstrations. The role requires a blend of P&C insurance pricing and modeling skills, actuarial analysis, technical design, and communication. A willingness to travel up to 30% is required. Key Activities Articulate the functional and technical aspects of our offerings to new and existing clients, including pricing and modeling explanations, interactions with policy administration systems, SaaS components, product architecture, and configuration/integration paths. Provide sales presentations and software demonstrations. Support the Sales team as an expert on Guidewire’s Pricing solutions throughout the sales cycle. Partner with other Solution Consultants for application configuration for detailed product demonstrations (e.g., data‑model extensions, rules creation) and support solution‑related conversations during those demos. Respond in writing to questions and requests for information from prospects and analysts. Constructively and professionally challenge prospects and customers with new approaches. Necessary Skills and Expertise Pricing and modeling expertise. Strong verbal and sales demonstration/presentation skills. Effective writing skills. Proficiency in Python and/or other modern programming languages. Knowledge of P&C insurance pricing systems and concepts. Understanding of integration mechanisms and patterns. Helpful Knowledge Experience in P&C insurance operations. Experience with modern P&C insurance systems (e.g., Earnix). Experience in pre‑sales. Familiarity with AI, cloud computing, and SaaS industry trends. Python or R skills. Knowledge of building pricing and rates for P&C insurance companies.
