Job Summary As a Maintenance Technician EIC, you will join the Maintenance team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. You will perform maintenance and repair work on plant electrical and Instrumentation & Control equipment, ensuring tasks are completed with quality assurance, in a timely and technically correct manner. You will assist the Electrical Maintenance Manager (I&C) in troubleshooting and diagnosing, and help drive the transition to clean energy. Key Responsibilities Act as a member of the emergency response team when required by the PEI. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment, instruments, and control systems according to the maintenance plan. Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faulty or malfunctioning electrical equipment, instruments, and plant control systems. Supervise and manage external contractors performing electrical tasks. Execute electrical insulation and standardization procedures as per the Work Permit procedures. Participate in maintenance teams to resolve breakdowns. Prepare repair and technical reports and collaborate on incident analysis. Contribute to 5‑Whys investigation teams. Support direct managers in preparing procedures, technical instructions, shutdown planning and maintenance plans, proposing improvements where applicable. Use the Plant Management Information System (MAXIMO) to create work orders, request materials, and perform tasks as assigned, ensuring timely and effective implementation of safety, health, environment, and major accident management systems. Promote continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in organizing the warehouse according to assigned tasks. In emergencies, serve as a member or substitute for the emergency support team per the Internal Emergency Plan (Self‑Protection Plan). Qualifications & Skills Education: Industrial technical engineering or similar, or higher vocational training with demonstrated experience. Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar maintenance role. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Office, Outlook, Intelex, Maximo, SharePoint, Teams. Travel: This role does not require travel.
