Study Coordinator

Overview The Academic and Commercial Clinical Research Directorate at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) supports the clinical research community at Vall d’Hebron Campus throughout the entire lifecycle of commercial clinical trials. The Clinical Trials Management Unit is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the commercial clinical studies at the Vall d'Hebron Campus.Education and qualifications Bachelor Degree in Life SciencesComputer user level (Office package, mail)Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English (business level)Desired qualifications Training in Good Clinical PracticeMaster’s degree in Clinical TrialsExperience and knowledge Required At least 1.5 years of experience working in hospital environmentsExperience with SAP management softwareAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team settingStrong communication skillsDesired Previous experience as Study CoordinatorKnowledge of e-CRF and management of clinical data related to clinical trialsHighly organised and methodical, with strong motivation and initiativeAbility to promptly and effectively respond to requests from both the team and the sponsorMain responsibilities and duties Coordinate, manage, and promote patient recruitment for clinical trialsMaintain up-to-date clinical data from source documents to eCRFs, CTMS, and ISFPerform data entry for phase I, II, III, and IV studiesAcquire pathology-specific knowledge to ensure accurate understanding of the protocol and data extraction from clinical source documentsManage Investigational Medicinal Product returned from patients and keep related accountability and adherence information up to dateSupport the notification process of Adverse Events and Serious Adverse EventsAttend site monitoring visits, review, and resolve queries in accordance with GCPCoordinate the reception and return of equipment provided by the sponsorPrepare required documentation in case of audit or inspection visitsProvide oversight of intern training and mentorshipProvide support to the clinical team and report to the Clinical Trials Management UnitProvide support for all tasks related to the Commercial and Contracted Clinical Research Directorate as assigned by the ManagerLabour conditions Full-time position: 37,5 h/weekStarting date: as soon as possibleGross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills.
