Join to apply for the Data Scientist, Spain - BCG X role at BCG X What You’ll Do Our BCG X teams own the full analytics value-chain end to end: framing new business challenges, designing innovative algorithms, implementing, deploying scalable solutions, and enabling colleagues and clients to fully embrace AI. Your responsibilities will include: Partnering with clients across BCG regions and industries on key topics such as climate change and AI innovation. Designing, building, deploying new and innovative AI solutions for clients. Leading thought leadership in scientific communities and presenting at conferences on behalf of BCG X. Working collaboratively with modern development tools, writing code, and integrating solutions with client systems. Qualifications Comfortable in a client-facing role with the ambition to lead teams. Excellent communication skills: distilling complex results into clear visualizations and explaining sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner. Strong project management skills and a bias toward action. Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques, their mathematical underpinnings, and the ability to translate business implications for our clients. Significant experience applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data. Proficiency in Python and experience with modern development tooling; bonus points for software development or DevOps experience. Fluency in English and Spanish; Spanish is required. Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Research Science, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
