Our culture embraces teamwork, collaboration and empowerment.Job Summary In this role you will oversee budgeting, forecasting and analysis, ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will advise senior management to drive growth and profitability. You will manage financial statements and reports, guiding business decisions for optimal financial outcomes.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare and present financial forecasts and budget plans.Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment and management.Manage cash flow and investment strategies.Identify areas for cost reduction and profit maximization.Maintain timeliness and accuracy of forecasts, budgets, reports and analysis.Lead cross‑functional teams to make data‑driven decisions that improve financial performance.RequirementsBackground in finance, accounting or a related field, ideally in a multinational or public‑traded company.Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, preferably with a manufacturing background.Strong communication skills to translate financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.Experience working in complex matrix organizations.Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Detail‑oriented, analytical and proactive in identifying and solving problems.Experience with Oracle and Hyperion is a plus.Fluent in English and Spanish and/or Catalan.Outcomes / KPIsConsistently high accuracy and reasonableness of reports, budgets, forecasts & analysis.Timely preparation of reports, budgets, forecasts & analysis, meeting all deadlines.Track record of guiding other departments and teams to make business decisions that achieve optimal financial outcomes.Equal Employment Opportunity Novanta is a proud equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
