As the Team Lead of Cyber Defence Solutions, you'll own a high‑performing engineering team focused on maintaining and delivering cyber defence tools and automations. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises. As a part of the Security Team, the main aim of the Cyber Defence Solutions team is to develop, improve, and maintain innovative platforms such as Threat Intelligence, XDR, SOAR and its automations playbooks. We're looking for a highly experienced cyber security professional with a strong background in engineering and team‑leading skills. Lead the Cyber Defence Solutions team for Swiss Re Be accountable for the maintenance and delivery of the cyber defence stack, keeping a good balance between both aspects Be a leader who understands that it takes a diverse set of skills and individuals to form a highly effective operations team Lead, inspire, and develop the Cyber Defence Solutions team by establishing an environment which enables autonomy and mastery for all team members Influence cyber defence strategy by bringing bottom‑up requirements and insights Passion, drive and a belief in the value of developing, improving and maintaining innovative cyber defence platforms with a mix of self‑developed tools and third‑party solutions Experience in leading teams in complex corporate environments A track record of successful delivery in leading high‑performance software engineering teams Demonstrated expertise and a high level of motivation as a leader for an international team with the ability to work in a hybrid setting Being fluent in data and analytics and knowledgeable of using data in driving operational improvement Excellent command of both written and spoken English Experience in software development practices with special focus on Python and Kubernetes Knowledge on the area of cyber defence, specifically in the SOAR and XDR toolsets In‑depth knowledge of the full technology stack used across enterprise environments Practical experience in agile methodologies and principles The base salary range for this position is between EUR 60,000 and EUR 100,000 (for a full‑time role). In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance‑based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements.
