The Role We are currently seeking a full-time, highly professional, and career-oriented Power Systems Engineer to support the Director and Manager in people leadership, resource planning, and project execution. This role also serves as a deputy, assisting with team coordination and operational responsibilities for a defined group of engineers.The role requires strong technical leadership, operational discipline, and a solid understanding of power system operations in generation and transmission environments.Your Impact Assist in capacity planning, project staffing, and team scheduling. Lead onboarding and mentoring junior team members. Support individual performance evaluations and development plans. Help resolve team-level execution issues and coordinate resource reassignments. Review contract specifications and define project requirements. Provide technical leadership in the configuration, tuning, and validation of key GMS applications, including:Automatic Generation Control (AGC) Economic Dispatch (ED) Unit Commitment (UC) Reserve Monitoring and Performance Tracking Load Forecasting and Control Optimization Maintain comprehensive project documentation and contribute to the development of training material. Communicate detailed technical and project requirements to internal departments as needed. Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements and communicate project plans and updates. Maintain documentation and contribute to training material development. Provide support for pre-sales activities and assist resource coordination. Contribute to the execution of process improvement initiatives within the team. What You'll Need BS (required) degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering including completion of one or more Power Systems courses. Minimum 3 years of related experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Superior organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment. Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites. Strong commitment to providing superior customer service. MS degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering including completion of one or more Power Systems courses preferred.
