We are seeking a highly motivated PhD Candidate to join our Biomedical Research in Gynecology lab, in our exciting new research project on endometriosis, titledPrecision Endometriosis Research: Integrating Molecular Classification, In Vitro Modeling, and Personalized Therapeutic Strategies,funded by La Fundació La Marató 3cat. The lab is based at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) in Barcelona. This is a unique chance to contribute to cutting-edge research in gynecological diseases, specifically focusing on endometriosis, in the context of personalized medicine. A core component of the project will involve generating and utilizing patient-derived organoids (PDOs) as advanced  in vitro models of the disease. What We Are Looking For: Bachelor studies in Biology, or similar sciences degrees, and Master's in Biomedicine or related fields. Competitive bachelor's and master's marks and/or authorship in publications for PhD grant applications. Prior laboratory experience with cell culture, molecular biology (particularly proteomic techniques), or bioinformatics and molecular data analysis is a strong advantage. Prior work in women's health research is a plus. Passionate, proactive, committed and with strong organizational skills.
