Overview Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager Data Centres – Goodman, Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain. Goodman is a dynamic real estate company focused on logistics real estate, expanding into data centre development projects. We are seeking an experienced Client-Side QA/QC Manager to oversee all QA/QC processes for data centre construction, ensuring work meets specifications, industry and client requirements, and supports reliability, performance, and safety of mission-critical facilities. Key Responsibilities Quality & risk management: Create tender documentation and review inputs from tender participants; participate in final contractual documentation. Oversee the development and implementation of project-specific QA/QC plans to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements. Identify quality risks related to design, materials, and installation, and implement mitigation measures. Reporting and documentation management: Oversee the preparation and review of all quality documentation, including Inspection Test Plans, checklists, quality procedures, and method statements. Ensure QA/QC documentation is compiled for final handover, including certifications, warranties, and as-built documentation. Track and report on KPIs, highlight deviations, and develop mitigation strategies. Provide timely QA/QC progress reports to the Project Lead and stakeholders. Contribute QA/QC data and narratives for reporting. Inspection and audit: Monitor on-site construction activities with inspections and tests to ensure materials and workmanship conform to design specifications. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality management plans, local codes, and international standards. Coordinate quality inspections with GC, subcontractors, and vendors; coordinate with tenant representatives on quality matters. Qualifications Degree or equivalent in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field. Strong understanding of quality management systems, ISO 9001, and industry-specific codes for data centre construction. Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISO 9001 Auditor are preferred. Significant experience (minimum 8 years) in delivering general contractor or developer roles for Data Centre Development projects and in QA/QC roles (minimum 10 years) on major projects or in related industrial sectors. Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve quality-related issues quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams, contractors, and clients. Strong leadership with ability to lead QA/QC teams and manage contractor relationships.
