Product Stewardship and Regulatory (PS&R) is a cross-functional process which seeks to understand and minimize the impacts to human health and the environment throughout a product’s life-cycle—production, transport, use, and end-of-life management. DuPont is a leading company in the full utilization of SAP’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Product Safety module for managing global regulatory compliance across many diverse specialty product businesses. The SAP EH&S Hazard Communications Analyst position offers a challenging opportunity to gain exposure across the DuPont product portfolio and support the business units and/or the Corporation in the hazard classification of products and generation of globally compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels.

1. Understand the processes used for data review, analysis, validation, and maintenance.
2. Develop a proficiency in SAP EH&S including but not limited to:
   1. Maintaining regulatory, compositional and product data in EH&S.
   2. Running product classification and other rules.
   3. Determining and validating product classification and labelling.
   4. Generating product SDS and labels.
   5. Analyzing and reviewing data.
   6. Understanding of the EH&S data model.
3. Identify and troubleshoot regulatory data issues.
4. Address business and customer enquiries relating to SDS and label.
5. Understand chemical and product regulatory compliance.
6. Understand company confidential business information (CBI) requirements.
7. Participate in continuous improvement projects.
8. Collaborate in global networks.

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field of study (e.g. chemical engineering, chemistry) or equivalent.
2. Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
3. Excellent writing/verbal communication and presentation skills.
4. Accomplished computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and database experience.
5. Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in cross-functional teams to deliver concrete project deliverables in a timely manner.

1. Experience in SAP EH&S, including but not limited to:
   1. Maintaining regulatory, compositional and product data in SAP EH&S.
   2. Hazard classification of chemical products.
   3. Generation of SDS and labels.
   4. Working knowledge of GHS.
   5. Working knowledge of EU Chemical regulations, in particular REACH and CLP.
   6. Basic understanding of toxicology in relation to hazard classification.
   7. Knowledge of product risk management and product stewardship is a benefit.
