Project context Project Details Client: Leader in the Chemical Manufacturing industry Location: Huelva, Spain Work Mode: Hybrid (remote documentation review + site/vendor visits in Huelva) Start Date: Immediate Duration: Until March (estimated) Workload: 2–3 days/week initially; ramp-up expected in mid January 2026 Languages: Spanish (native), English (technical proficiency) Team Setup: Direct collaboration with Contractor QC representatives Contract Type: Freelance / External workforce Summary We are supporting an industrial construction program requiring reinforced Quality Control and QA/QC oversight. The mission focuses mainly on quality documentation review and expediting activities, combined with periodic visits to the Contractor's premises in Huelva to ensure timely delivery of Mechanical Completion dossiers. The workload will initially be flexible and partly on-call, depending on documentation issuance by the Contractor, with an expected increase in activity in early to mid of January 2026. Goals and deliverables Main Responsibilities & Key Activities Perform expediting visits to the Contractor's premises and liaise with the Contractor's QC representative Monitor progress and status of quality documentation Review, comment on, and approve quality documentation and final dossiers Ensure all comments are properly addressed prior to final approval Verify completeness of Mechanical Completion and Quality Dossiers, including: Welding documentation (WPS, PQR, WPQR, welder certificates, welding books & maps) Material certificates and full traceability, including consumables NDT records and compliance with project requirements NDT personnel certifications Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) Installation QC records (piping, flanged joints, equipment such as pumps) Piping cleaning records Pressure test documentation Final as-built drawings Declarations of Conformity Experience Required Extensive hands-on experience in QA/QC for industrial or plant construction projects Proven exposure to Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical environments Strong background in Mechanical Completion and Quality Dossier management Education No specific degree required Technical background in industrial construction or quality control expected
