Assistant Director of Sales (Complex Office)Join to apply for the Assistant Director of Sales (Complex Office) role at Arabella Golf Resort Mallorca .Position PurposeThe Assistant Director of Sales reports to the Director of Sales and will assist her/him in managing the implementation of the hotel’s sales strategies and achieving budgeted top line revenue for the hotel. The ADOS needs to be organized, detail oriented, enjoys working in a team environment and leading and developing team members. The ADOS has the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbally.ResponsibilitiesAssist in leading and supervising the sales team, oversee the day to day sales activities, implement action plans and accomplish goals and set targets.Attend sales strategy meetings to provide input on weekly and overall sales strategy.Analyze market information by using sales systems and implement strategy to achieve property’s financial room and catering goals.Work collaboratively with off-property sales channels (e.g., Event Booking Center, Market Sales, GSO) to ensure the property needs are being achieved and the sales efforts are complementary, not duplicative.Assist in the production of annual hotel business plan.Attend customer events, trade shows and sales missions to maintain, build or develop key relationships with GSO Managers and customers.BenefitsCareer growth opportunities in a fast-growing international brandExclusive rates at Marriott International hotels worldwidePhysiotherapy servicesAssociate Assistance ProgramExcellent learning and development opportunitiesEmployee referral programDiscounts at our restaurantsFree golf training courses and special ratesQualificationsMinimum of 5 years hotel sales experience – luxury brands preferred.Experience in MICE and Leisure segments.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Decision making skills and an astute business acumen.Immaculate presentation at all times, representing the Marriott Luxury Brands.Relationship with inbound tour operator & wholesalers.Relationship with MICE & event management companies.Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards client and colleagues as an ambassador of Marriott International.Lead by positive example; ensure sales team members are a positive reflection of the hotel.Able to overcome obstacles and objections.Sees challenges as opportunities.Able to prioritize workload; is organized and well structured.Must have initiative and be a self starter, not waiting to be driven.Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English and Spanish.
