ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM: TKWW is looking for an Associate Director, Data Analytics who can be the strategic partner and point of contact for all things data for our Product Marketplace & Ads zones. The manager will be responsible for partnering with leaders across these two zones to drive strategy, as well as partnering with cross-functional stakeholders on our operations and marketing teams. They will manage a team of analysts with an emphasis on identifying opportunities and delivering value. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage, grow, and mentor a team of analysts Think holistically about stakeholder needs across data science & analytics, business intelligence, machine learning, and data engineering Work with data science and product partners to identify opportunities for data products and predictive models using NLP, recommender systems, forecasting, and other advanced statistical and ML techniques Use analytics anddescriptive statistical modelsto explore data & identify opportunities Build a reporting stack tailored to the needs of the Marketplace & Ads teams, including high-level executive reports and domain-specific operational reports Develop methodologies for measuring performance across different parts of the product and customer journeys Oversee analyses of large datasets to uncover opportunities and guide decision making Design and conduct A/B testing experiments and advocate for an iterative learning culture Develop tools and data products that automate manual work, increase operational efficiency, and empower users via self-service SUCCESSFUL DATA ANALYST MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE: Excellent communicator with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Strong SQL and Python programming skills Strong knowledge of applied statistics Hands on experience with A/B testing experiment design and analysis Experience working at a two-sided marketplace or eCommerce company High-level understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, and database design Knowledge of visualization and proficiency in at least one visualization tool 3+ years of data analytics leadership and management experience Strong track record of influencing the organization and driving tangible business impact BENEFITS & PERKS: Private Health Insurance paid by the Company.
