Industrial EngineerAutoliv’s primary goal is to Save More Lives. We develop seatbelts, airbags, and steering wheels to increase vehicle safety and never compromise on quality.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, productivity, and product quality.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in line with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process engineering projects and cost reduction activities.Design, develop, and monitor optimal layouts for production lines, equipment, and material flows.Support new product launches and process changes by developing work instructions and standard operating procedures.Create and maintain detailed process documentation and production data analysis.Lead time studies and capacity analysis to support operational planning.Promote a culture of health, safety and compliance within all manufacturing operations.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.Fluent in written and spoken English.Manufacturing and Operations knowledge.Supervision skills, ability to manage multitask teams.Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and teamwork spirit.Flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment.Demonstrated project management skills.Experience in industrial automation (robots, PLC, industrial networks implementation and programming) will be considered.Experience in management of machine and automation suppliers will be considered.Lean manufacturing knowledge.Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and integration of new manufacturing technologies.BenefitsOur international work environment offers challenging and rewarding opportunities.
