Role Description The Agentforce and Data Cloud Architect (AFDC Architect) is a pivotal, customer‑facing role focused on enabling customers to become true Agentic Enterprises. You will serve as a strategic technical advisor and the definitive subject matter expert on Agentforce and Data Cloud, guiding customers through the entire lifecycle—from discovery and presales to activation and ongoing success. Pre‑Sales Responsibilities Engage directly with sales teams on strategic accounts, leading technical discovery, solution design, and presentation of Agentforce and Data Cloud offerings. Define customer use cases and deliver 1:1 workshops, customized demos, and hands‑on POCs/Pilots that showcase platform capabilities. Develop detailed data architectures, provide specific SKU recommendations, and estimate credit consumption. Serve as the deep product expert for Agentforce & Data Cloud, partnering with global AI & Data teams to bring domain expertise to every customer interaction. Advocate the product roadmap with customers, ensuring they have access to the latest innovations and creating a feedback loop between customers and product strategy. Create and deliver comprehensive handover documentation to ensure a seamless transition to post‑sales implementation teams. Post‑Sales Responsibilities Serve as the strategic advisor guiding customers from successful POCs to full production deployment, collaborating with implementation partners and services. Monitor initial credit consumption, fine‑tune solutions for optimal performance, and guide updates to consumption plans. Develop and deliver scalable customer support motions such as webinars and office hours. Collaborate with strategic partners to build their expertise and scale the activation of Agentforce and Data Cloud across the ecosystem. Ensure long‑term customer success by managing the transition to internal teams (Field Delivery Experts, Professional Services, Customer Success Managers) at the appropriate time. Required Qualifications & Skills 5+ years in a customer‑facing technical role (Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Architect) with prior Salesforce experience a plus. Experience with AI concepts and technologies: LLMs, transformers, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, and major cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proven ability to lead technical pre‑sales cycles, delivering workshops, demos, and POCs. Strong understanding of data integration patterns, APIs, and data governance principles. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence both technical and business audiences. Passion for innovation and deep curiosity for AI and business automation. Willingness to complete a mandatory 6‑week intensive training program with Forward Deployed Engineers. Fluency in English and Spanish. Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Certifications Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (data modeling, ingestion, identity resolution). Knowledge of Big Data processing, data architecture & modeling, and modern data lakehouse concepts. Experience with Databricks or Snowflake platforms and at least one major cloud provider. Certifications: Salesforce Agentblazer Legend (with AI Specialist) and Data Cloud Consultant.
