Start your journey with us Were looking for a Senior Trading Analyst to join our Performance Marketing team in Barcelona to optimizing our performance marketing strategies across SEM Paid Social Display Video and other digital channels for our various products If youre ready to soar were ready to take you there Why eDreams ODIGEOJoin the worlds leading travel subscription platform and one of the largest ecommerce businesses in Europe Millions of customers every year across 44 markets 5 brands over 725 million Prime members since launching in 2017 More than 100 million searches per day on our websites more than 6 billion AI daily predictions Over 1700 employees More than 60 different nationalities from all continents 99 permanent contracts 36 average age Were the worlds leading travel subscription platform and one of the largest ecommerce businesses in Europe We are a tech company revolutionising the travel booking experience through our consumer insight innovative technology market leadership and Prime the worlds first travel subscription program What you will doThe Roles Key Responsibilities and Tasks As a Senior Trading Analyst within the Performance Marketing team you will drive analytical strategy and influence bidding decisions across SEM and other digital acquisition channels Youll work at the intersection of data science marketing and product helping to maximize efficiency scale and profitability through datadriven trading insights This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex analytical projects work with large datasets and directly influence marketing efficiency campaign performance and overall business growth Analyze large complex datasets to uncover opportunities in SEM performance evaluating efficiency elasticity seasonality market shifts and LTVbased bidding strategies Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of automated bidding logic informed by statistical models demand trends and auction dynamics Bring a systematic mindset to analyzing campaign performance identifying optimization levers based on efficiency risk exposure and timing Develop and maintain dashboards and monitoring tools to track campaign performance and algorithmic behavior Partner with Data Science to integrate predictive models forecasting tools and simulation frameworks into SEM decisionmaking systems Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams to ensure SEM logic is effectively embedded into production systems Continuously test and iterate on SEM data pipelines model inputs and optimization logic to improve performance tracking and bidding accuracy Design and interpret AB and incrementality tests to evaluate bidding strategies and campaign changes Communicate findings clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders driving rapid iteration and performance optimization What you need to succeedJob RequirementsMusthaves Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters in a quantitative field eg Mathematics Statistics Physics Engineering Technical Skills: 4 years of experience with SQL PythonR and BI tools eg Looker Studio Tableau Power BI MicroStrategy Industry Experience: Background in quantitative analysis data science or a similar role ideally within the travel financial trading or tech sectors Data Proficiency: Skilled in working with large datasets conducting advanced analysis and integrating data from multiple sources Business Acumen: Strong understanding of how data insights influence performance marketing and overall company strategy and business outcomes Analytical Mindset: Ability to extract interpret and translate data into actionable insights Curiosity amp; ProblemSolving: Demonstrated passion for analytical exploration and continual innovation in methodology Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to clearly communicate findings to technical and nontechnical audiences SelfStarter amp; Organized: Proactive and detailoriented able to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced dynamic environment Preferable Performance Marketing Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital advertising channels SEM Paid Social Display Video; experience in the travel industry is a plus Advanced Analytical Experience: 5 years in a dataintensive role focused on quantitative decisionmaking and optimization Marketing Analytics Tools: Experience with Google Analytics Adobe Analytics or similar platforms used for marketing performance measurement Whats in it for you?
