In ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE & SECURITY develops safer and more reliable defense systems through technology, including unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), sensing systems, command and control software, and aiming systems.We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with the mission in developing and researching defense systems, from the preliminary phase to industrialization. Tasks to be performed: Mechanical design and creation of manufacturing drawings Bill of materials (BOM) and checklist oversight Selection of commercial components Development of design documentation Supervision of manufacturing, assembly and commissioning Creation of test plans, assistance and supervision of system tests Required skills, experience and candidate profile: Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, Aeronautics or similar. Master's degree in mechanics, robotics, materials or similar is valuable. 2-3 years of experience. Solidworks or other similar CAD programs. Knowledge of Composite Materials. Design of flight parts. Knowledge of electronics and use of equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc. will be valued. Knowledge of project management will be valued. Knowledge of the defense sector and defense regulations for design and testing MIL-STD, STANAG will be valued. Prior experience in the defence sector is desirable. Advanced english (B2).
