The company’s approach blends the dynamism and creativity of a startup with the reliability and profitability of a well-established global enterprise.Mission:As a QA Automation Engineer your role will be pivotal in:Guaranteeing the quality and dependability of the various SaaS/UI products. You’ll serve as the automation authority for our QA team, maintaining standardized QA tools and offering guidance and assistance to those with less technical expertise.We seek a highly technical individual capable of automating and programming effortlessly; experience in development or DevOps is advantageous.Your responsibilities will encompass analyzing application functionalities and devising automated functional tests. Collaboration with product managers, software engineers, testers, and stakeholders will be essential to influence product design, testability, and execution.What we are looking for:Ability to comprehend the testing requirements, encompassing UI, API, and Database testing.Experience in establishing and managing QA tools and testing frameworks, aiding in the integration of nightly builds or other CI phases.Creation of comprehensive test plans derived from feature analysis and a thorough understanding of application behaviour, ensuring the functionality, usability, performance, and reliability of the company’s software.Willingness to assist fellow QAs in automation endeavours by tackling complex technical issues.Experience in refining and optimizing testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Being able to promote a positive team culture by fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and ongoing learning initiatives.About you:5+ years experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in a software development environment.Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, REST Assured, or similar.Familiarity with programming languages (Java at a high level).High level in maven and project configuration, knowledge of maven plugins.Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger.Strong knowledge of SQL queries.Knowledge of distributed version control system (git), and knowledge of CI/CD tools, Jenkins, and bash scripting.High command of English.Nice to have:Knowledge of MongoDB would be valued.Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork capabilities, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting.Proficient in both written and verbal communication.Terms & Conditions:I consent to Block&Capital collecting, storing, and processing my personal data for purposes related to job searching, and I confirm that I have read the terms and conditions.
