Join to apply for the Material Handler (Contrato temporal 6 meses) role at GE Vernova Job Description Summary Material Handler will be responsible for all material handling activities in the plant, including goods receiving process, material picking and delivery to the shop, as well as shipment preparation. Responsibilities Perform transactions to receive and dispatch material in SAP and Oracle system Maintain accurate inventory records of all parts both incoming / outgoing Troubleshoot any problems or issues with incoming / outgoing parts to the shop or paperwork Maintain organization of raw materials-components and preserve trace and integrity of all inventory. Physically receive items that are in warehouse location and move to stocking locations Ensure items are stocked in correct locations. Pull work orders for production and warehouse in a manufacturing environment Pick orders for external shipment Load / unload trucks as needed in a timely manner Work with carriers to arrange pick up and deliveries Distribute materials as needed, including waste generated at the Repair Plant Follow all EH&S guidelines and policies Follow good environmental practices and waste management procedures. Qualifications / Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment Knowledge of SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Office package. Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers Ability to multi-task Fork truck license or willingness to get fork truck license Operate machinery as needed (Forklift, Skin Pack Machine, Crane etc.) Ability to lift, transport, move and / or manipulate boxes or other materials up to 100T with reasonable accommodations. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a working environment that changes daily to keep incoming / outgoing materials moving to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
