Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Perform site development engineering and project management tasks from public agencies and private companies for residential, public works, and commercial/industrial projects.
2. Design a variety of land development site designs.
3. Prepare grading, street, sewer, water, and storm drain improvement plans for residential, commercial development, and public works projects.
4. Coordinate with clients, attend client meetings, and oversee quality standards.
5. Build plan sets and other construction documents.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
2. Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
3. Experience with site civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling programs, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
4. Excellent technical and communication skills, including report writing skills.
5. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
6. Design experience that includes utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence, and permitting.
7. Experience with task management and concept design.
