Senior Full Stack Developer – SateliotSateliot is a Barcelona‑based startup in the New Space sector, developing the first satellite telecommunications operator to provide global and continuous connectivity. We are launching a constellation of next‑generation nanosatellites that act as mobile towers, complementing terrestrial telecom infrastructure. We’re looking for an experienced developer to lead end‑to‑end delivery of full‑stack projects, from API architecture and database design to the frontend interface, while championing code quality, testing, and cloud integration. MissionLead the full‑stack delivery of projects, perform rigorous code reviews, mentor engineers, and ensure the reliability of our web platform stack. Main FunctionsFull‑Stack DevelopmentArchitect, build, and optimize robust web applications usingPHP (Laravel)andPython (Flask) . Implement and maintainRESTful APIsandmicroservicesfor internal systems, third‑party integrations, and data processing. Develop solutions that integrate with hardware, labs, or log processing systems. Cloud, DevOps & QualityDesign and integrate commonAWSservices (EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, etc.) into our applications. Contribute to and improve our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for automated testing and deployment to ourKubernetes (k8s)clusters. Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code with unit and integration tests (PHPUnit, pytest). Perform peer code reviews and useSonarQubeto measure and improve quality. Performance & CollaborationDiagnose and resolve complex performance bottlenecks at the application, database (SQL/NoSQL), and infrastructure levels. Manage tasks inJiraand actively participate in our Agile (Scrum/Kanban) ceremonies. Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, and DevOps/Network engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions. RequirementsEducation & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.5+ years as a Full‑Stack Developer , with a strong focus onPHP (Laravel) . Demonstrable experience building production applications withPython (Flask) . Solid experience designing and consumingRESTful APIsand working with microservice architectures. Technical SkillsHands‑on experience withAWSservices (S3, SNS, RDS, EC2, etc.). Proficiency in relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Solid experience withtesting(PHPUnit, pytest), code quality tools ( SonarQube ), and agile methodologies. Experience withDockercontainer workflows and deployment onk8s . Comfortable with theLinux command lineand fundamental networking concepts. Plus:Prior experience in the space or telecommunications sector. Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a critical eye for performance, scalability, and security. Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex technical decisions to non‑technical stakeholders.
