We are leaders on digital technology services, and we provide large-scale technologic solutions to big companies.What are we looking for?We are looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer , working close to one of our main clients in banking sector.A hands-on QA engineer whose primary objective is to review, assess, define, and execute the QA roadmap to improve unit, integration and functional test coverage for Java/React and Python based applications. Close collaboration with Software Engineers and Business Analysts to understand what should be tested and how. Independent execution of the testing activities to ensure timely detection and resolution of quality issues and increased transparency over the quality level of the development deliverables. Direct reporting to the Software Development Lead.Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.Main task and responsibilities:Testing backend services, frontend screens and data integrationsFunctional testingManual and automated Unit testingAutomated/integrated in the CICD pipelinesBoundary testingPerformance and stress testingRegression testingWhat does UST expect from you?Professional experience 4 years in QA domain Documentation XRAY (optional) JIRA + Gitlab integration (must)Practical experience in the following QA activities and toolsets:- Unit/integration tests: Frontend – Vitests, MWS for API mocking Backend – Junit, Mockito, Testcontainers, Lettuce, Jacoco Python --PyTest/unittest Functional: Selenium, Katalon, Cucumber E2E integration / Functional Playwright, PactFlow Security / Vulnerability / Code Quality OWASP, ZAST-Semgrep Stress/Load/Performance: JMeter, K6-Comfortable understanding/navigating through source code in: Java – including Spring Boot 2/3 JavaScript/TypeScript – including React frontend framework Python – including Pandas data ETL frameworksGood english level (C1) you will be working with international teams.Desired Skills:Experience in either T24 or Triple A is considered an advantageExperience of selenium grid would be considered an assetNice to have: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Math or similar domainWork scheduleBusiness Hours.
